Waterproof Madonna & Snoop Dogg

Pretty fun ads for H2O, a water-proof iPod case. The ads are from Egypt and were done by ad agency LOWE, Cairo. The tagline is ‘Waterproof your music’ with portraits of an aquatic Madonna and Snoop Dogg.

Frozen 300

I came upon this excellent music video that uses scenes from the movie 300 with Madonna's song Frozen. Frozen is one of my favorite all time songs, not just of Madonna but in general. This video, which is created by Stormanology, is superbly edited with excellently chosen scenes and beautiful visuals. Check out both the Frozen (300) video and the original official music video, which remains a fantastic video to this day.

Madonna Miles Away ON-X Mixes

Ok, so Madonna's 'Miles Away' is getting remixed left and right, and the latest is the ON-X mixes (radio & club remixes) by Patrik & Rolie. Listen to the mix at their myspace page.

Happy 50th Birthday Madonna

Madonna's 'Like a Prayer' was the first album I ever bought. I was around 8 years old and I only knew a few English words. Today Madonna celebrates her 50th Birthday. With over 25 years in the buisness, she's still going strong. Check out a Super Gallery I created at Trend Hunter Magazine with 20 Madonna trends to celebrate her 50th.

Make sure to check out this 1983 Unreleased Video of Holiday. Oh my, look at these dance moves. And yes, that is her brother behind her.

Arrest Me, Undress Me

This is an ammmmmaaaazing remix of new single Give It 2 Me by usual suspect Paul Oakenfold. The action starts at the 1:30 minute mark. The remix is 5 minutes long and leaves you wanting more and more. This should rip through dance clubs!

3 Greatest 4 Minutes Mixes!!!

These are the three hottest remixes from Madonna's "4 Minutes" US CD Maxi Single, which contains six remixes.

UPDATE: Links taken down. Go HERE for downloads.

LISTEN / DOWNLOAD

The Bob Sinclar Space Funk is the most traditional out of these mixes. Sinclar keeps all the vocals (Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Madonna) and adds cool beats for a smooth and midtempo mix.

>> 4 Minutes (Junkie Xl Mix)
The Junkie Xl Mix totally transformas the song. It takes away the obnoxious horns, Justin vocals (with only a small "madonna" shout out at the beginning & end) and it takes Timbaland vocals as well. It is just madonna, and it is really really good, and very different from the original. The action does not start till after two minutes.

Peter Rauhofer does not need any introduction. This one is the most "clubby" out of the six remixes. It's pretty solid with nice beats. This is the one to dance to.

Hidden Gem >> If You Forget Me

If You Forget Me is a rare Madonna gem composed of her spoken-word reading of a Pablo Neruda poem with oriental beats and the infamous Erotica line 'Give it up, do as I say. Give it up and let me have me way'. The beauty of the poem combined with the hypnotic beats and Madonna's unmistakable voice result in an amazing piece of art/music. It is very similar to the style of Justify My Love - The Beast Within mix, which is my all-time Madonna favorite mix.

If You Forget Me >> I want you to know one thing >> You know how this is >> If I look at the crystal moon >> At the red branch of the slow autumn at my window >> If I touch near the fire the impalpable ash >> Or the wrinkled body of the log >> Everything carries me to you >> As if everything that exists - aromas, light, metals >> Were little boats that sail toward those isles of yours that wait for me >> Well, now >> If little by little you stop loving me >> I shall stop loving you >> Little by little >> If suddenly you forget me >> Do not look for me >> For I shall already have forgotten you >> If you think it long and mad the wind of banners that passes through my life >> And you decide to leave me at the shore of the heart where I have roots >> Remember >> That on that day, at that hour, I shall lift my arms >> And my roots will set off to seek another land >> But if each day, each hour, you feel that you are destined for me >> With implacable sweetness >> If each day a flower climbs up to your lips to seek me >> Ahh my love, ahh my own, in me all that fire is repeated >> In me nothing is extinguished or forgotten >> My love feeds on your love, beloved >> And as long as you live, it will be in your arms without leaving mine.

Life Can't Wait

Sunsilk is launching a new creative campaign Life Can't Wait to promote people to get off their lazy ass, get their hair done and live life. They are using three iconic females: Madonna, Marilyn Monroe and Shakira to inspire women. I like the look and color style of the ads, particularly the Madonna ad which uses an iconic picture of 80s Madonna and infuses the hair with three pictures of the ever changing Madonna.
