‘First Wives Club’ by Mario Testino in British Vogue, July ‘09

The new July 2009 issue of British Vogue features a portrait of 13 of the world leader’s first wives, shot by Mario Testino during the recent G20 summit. Dubbed, ‘First Wives Club,’ the portrait features from left to right: Ban Soon-taek (United Nations), Laureen Harper (Canada), Chikako Aso (Japan), Gursharan Kaur (India), Kim Yoon-ok (South Korea), Michelle Obama (US), Sarah Brown (UK), Margarite Zavala (Mexico), Svetlana Medvedeva (Russia), Emine Erdogan (Turkey), Theresa Rein (Australia), Margarida Barroso (European Commission), and Pimpen Vejjajiva (Thailand).

D&G Fall/Winter 2008-9 Ads

Dolce & Gabbana gave us a glimpse in their D&G pre-fall ads, and here we have the Fall/Winter 2008-2009 campaign for the D&G collection goes for a Scottish family portrait vibe, as opposed to the Dolce & Gabbana New York gangster themed campaign. The D&G campaign was shot by Mario Testino.
