Wow, that first monkey photo is incredible. Those eyes, absolutely haunting.
I agree price, the look in the monkey's eye pierced thru me as well. that is why I chose it as the lead image.
For background, the image is of a black colobus monkey having its fur singed in preparation for sale at an illegal bush-meat market in Gabon, Africa. It was taken by British photographer David Maitland.
